A Leading Hotels of the World member, the Gran Meliá Palacio de los Duques hotel is housed within the Convent Santo Domingo built in the 13th century and the neighboring Palace of Dukes of Granada de Ega built in the 19th century making it an impressive new hotel you have to see to believe. Within, you’ll find multiple homages to the influential Spanish artist, Diego Velázquez, of whom the ducal family were collectors.
Torre de Madrid is one of the city’s most recognizable buildings and is now home to Barceló Torre de Madrid. For a time, the building was the tallest concrete structure in the world. Today, the five-star property is a sophisticated and unique hotel courtesy of its designer, Jaime Hayón, a native Madridian.
Hotel Círculo Gran Vía is housed within a 1920 neo-classical building that was originally a gentleman’s club. Located on the Gran Via, this adults-only boutique property features one of the city’s best-known casinos.
The NH Collection Madrid Suecia hotel is a five-star property featuring 123 well-appointed rooms also along Madrid’s Gran Via. Built in the 1950’s, the building served as a residence for Ernest Hemingway and Che Guevara at various points throughout its history.

Four Seasons is bringing its first hotel in Spain to Madrid as part of a project that will feature a 200-room hotel along with 22 residences within seven historic buildings at the Centro Canalejas development. The hotel is expected to open in 2019.
Scheduled to open in 2019 as well, Spain’s second W hotel will be located on the Plaza de Canalejas inside a fully renovated 19th century building featuring 160 sleeping rooms.
The 159 room Hyatt Centric Gran Via Madrid will open later this year inside a landmark 1920 era building located along the famed Gran Via.
